AppVerix Gift Options: Privacy Policy

AppVerix Gift Options ("the app") is a Shopify app published by AppVerix ("we"). This policy explains what the app collects when a merchant installs it, why, and how to have it deleted.

Gift messages and names that shoppers type are stored by Shopify on the order. The merchant is the controller of that data. The app reads it to show gift orders and print gift receipts, and does not keep a copy.

1. What we collect and why

• Shop domain and language setting: to identify the store and show the admin in your language.
• An access token from Shopify: so the app can create the Gift wrap product, save the storefront settings and read gift orders. Kept until you uninstall.
• Your settings: message length, names on or off, chosen collections, wrap styles, photo links and price.
• Gift order details (message, names, wrap, items): read from Shopify when you open Gift orders or print a receipt. Not stored in our database.

2. Where it is kept

The app runs on Cloudflare Workers. Settings are stored in Cloudflare D1, which encrypts data at rest.

3. Sharing

We do not sell or share data. Cloudflare hosts the app. Shopify handles billing.

4. Deletion

When you uninstall, we delete the login session at once. When Shopify sends the shop/redact webhook (usually within 48 hours), we delete the store's settings. Customer data requests from Shopify are answered: the app holds no customer records.
